Hi I'm trying to recreate the slider shown in the Mug demo http://preview.themeforest.net/item/mug-clean-creative-multipurpose-grid-portfolio/full_screen_preview/7048545?_ga=1.204489744.1645253191.1475825419without any luck. I can't find anything online. Could you advise on process? Thank youTrevor
You have tried to make the import of our demo? In mug-package/dummy-data there are xml (wordpress) and zip (revolution slider) file.
Please send us the sample link after removing the Envato bar, otherwise the link is generic.
Let us know if we can be of further help.Regards,Themelovin
HiYes I've imported the WP XML file dummy content and installed the Revolution Slider and other recommended plugins. The url to the slider I'm attempting to set up is here: http://mug.themelovin.com/portfolio/solunite-ag-switzerland/The 'Portfolio' for the dummy version doesn't appear to have anything related to the slider carousel and I can't see any tutorials on how to set it up?I've attached a screengrab of the portfolio (dummy) file that relates to the slider in my site RegardsTrevor

Hi Trevor, this is not Revolution Slider, is the Post Format Gallery! You have to select the "Gallery" option in the "Format" panel (nfortunately, the importer of wordpress does not maintain the post format, you have to activate it manually).
To publish a gallery post format, upload as many photos as you’d
prefer into the media uploader and do not set a post featured image. If
you do, it will override the gallery slideshow.
Once you have uploaded the images, close the panel
(without clicking the “Insert into post” button, otherwise the images
you have just uploaded will also be seen on the post content).
Once you create the gallery, to change the order, add or
delete images simply click again on "Add Media" and select "Uploaded to
this post." Here you can change the order of images with drag &
drop, delete, or add new images to the gallery.
This is strange! I need a featured image to appear on the homepage grid from the portfolio post and include a sliding gallery like the one set up from the imported content here http://digital.trevorwells.com/?portfolio=artfad which works how I want it to. If I set up my own new one identically as here: http://digital.trevorwells.com/?portfolio=cockpit-demo-application The gallery doesn't appear? If I remove the featured image from my portfolio post just a single image from the created gallery appears...
Hi Trevor,I did not understand what you did and what happens ... the ideal would be to have a wordpress access to verify ...
You can create a new (admin) user for us or give us your access, as you prefer.Send here accesses (user and passowrd).
It seems to be ok. http://digital.trevorwells.com/?portfolio=cockpit-demo-application
Unfortunately, the method is not very immediate but when it was published on the theme, was the method offered by WordPress.
Try this:1. Select post format Gallery2. Press "Add Media" button and upload your images3. Once you have uploaded the images, close the panel without clicking the “Insert into post” button (uses the x icon in the upper right)4. Update (or publish) the post
Let us know if this helped.Regards,Themelovin
HiYes i got it working thanks, http://digital.trevorwells.com/?portfolio=cockpit-demo-application but I can't seem to control which images to show e.g. how do I remove previous images in the gallery that I don't want to appear and change the order? If I upload directly in the media window it's fine but unless I delete an image permanently I can't get rid of it in the gallery?RegardsTrevor
Yes, you can!
Once you create the gallery, to change the order, add or delete images simply click again on "Add Media" and select "Uploaded to this post." Here you can change the order of images with drag & drop, delete, or add new images to the gallery.

Ok thank you. Is there a way of deleting a gallery image that isn't permanently from the media library?
From the Media Library, you should be able to delete the images you want. Or once you create the gallery, to change the order, add or DELETE images simply click again on "Add Media" and select "Uploaded to this post." Here you can change the order of images with drag&drop, delete, or add new images to the gallery.
